Hyderabad: After kicking Furore above, taking over irrigation projects in Krishna and the Godavari River in Telangana and AP, the state government has been striking by its strategic silence.
The government has never approached the Supreme Court or raised the ‘raw agreement’ tethered to Telangana on the floor of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha until now.
Immediately after Gazette notification was released 10 days ago, Chief of Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao held an emergency meeting with senior irrigation officials and had decided to move the Supreme Court.
It was also decided to meet the Minister of Union Jal Shakti and, if possible, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in addition to increasing problems in parliament.
“When Parliament watched the bedlam on Pegasus peeking at controversy and agricultural law, our parliamentarians could not find time to increase the problem at Lok Sabha.
We also seek an appointment with the minister of union workers who are busy with a parliamentary session,” the leader of the Floor Trs in Lok Sabha Names Nageswara Rao told toi on Tuesday.
The party’s floor leader at Rajya Sabha K Keshava Rao said: “Because we did not get the opportunity to improve this problem, we would increase the problem of gazette notifications in the appropriate forum.” The source in the government said when the Ministry of Jal Shakti has referred to a problem a new court for legal experts, the state government will wait for the central decision and then decide on future actions.
This center is reported to convince the state government to get a report on legal issues regarding a new court in a month.
The Irrigation of the Head of the Special Secretary of Rajat Kumar held a meeting with irrigation officials to collect wise information.
The Krishna (KRMB) River Management Board and the Godavari River Management Council (GRMB) once again asked Telangana and AP to submit detailed project reports on irrigation projects in their respective countries.
