T’Gana: TRS announces its candidates for MLC polls

Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has announced six candidates for MLC polls under the MLA quota on Tuesday morning.
Former Chairman of the Gutta Legislative Board of Gutta Sukhender, Former Deputy CM Kadiyam Srihari, Rajya Sabha Banda Member Prakash, the leader of Huzurabad Rady Rady, TRS Leader T Ravinder Rao and former Collector SidDipet P Venkatrama Reddy will submit their nomination for six Legislative Council vacancies ( MLA quota) on Tuesday afternoon.
TRS leadership almost completed MC KOTI REDDY, Erolla Srinivas and Akula Lalitha along with others on Monday, but at the last minute, President TRS KCR reported to make changes to candidates’.
Because the party wants to send a former speaker assembly S Madhusudhana Chary to Rajya Sabha, the party has reportedly decided to shift Banda Prakash to the council to open the way for Madhusudhana Chary to go to the top house.
Both of them are from the backward class.
Venkatrama Reddy, who did voluntary pension on Monday from his IAS service, the initial name was considered for the nomination of the MLC party for the constituency of the local authority from the Medak for General Elections to be held on December 10.
But at the last minute, the party decided to send it under the MLA quota.
