Hyderabad: The Indian Consulate General (CGI), Dubai, has helped a worker from Karimnagar in a helpless situation back home.
Madishetty Srinivas was reunited with his family on July 8 in what happened how much told his wife Jamuna and family members after two years of suffering.
The Sriniva case is typical in the sense that he can’t even remember his wife’s phone number when he was found to live on the sidewalk in Dubai.

Srinivas was identified by families who had to see videos after being distributed by Social Workers Patkuri Basanth Reddy.
The Srinivas family was worried for him when he stopped calling them two years ago.
They did not know where he was and what he did in Dubai.
But the video came as a relief when they hoped he would be helped to return to Karimnagar.
CGI took care of Sriniva and finished the formality to send him back to India.
Srinivas was left without work in Dubai after a agent cheated him.
The Covid-19 situation made the situation worse.
Without money and nothing helped, he began living on the road and became confused.
He can’t recall family telephone numbers.
“We are happy for the family that he has been assisted to return to India by the embassy,” said Basanth Reddy.
The Srinivas family was worried for him when he stopped calling them two years ago.
They don’t have an idea about where he is and what he did in Dubai
