Thane: Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has continued its action against illegal construction in the city because it destroys 10 more structures on Wednesday.
For almost a month, the Civic’s body has destroyed illegal development in nine wards.
On Tuesday, the Maharashtra cabinet minister and NCP leader Jitendra Awhad also urged Civic’s body to order an audit for illegal buildings in elite areas such as Naupada and Vartaknagar.
The Civic’s body said that during the action, the construction of functions plus a five-storey illegal building in the rulishvadavli area under the Majiwada-Manpada region was destroyed.
The action was also taken on the five-storey structure of illegal buildings in Wagbhil Village.
In nutmeg balkum no 1, the fifth and sixth floor slabs from the building of the plus six floors were destroyed, and the other five-story buildings were also destroyed.
At Diva Ward, the structure of two floors of PL is destroyed on the DP road, and two other structures in Saabe Village.
Illegal structures are destroyed by the civil body.
In Naupada ward, 11 doors and five window leaves from the three-story Panchali building, which are considered dangerous, destroyed.
Similar actions were taken in a room at Chawl No 8 in Koliwada in the Kopri area.
