Thane: At least 12 incidents of fire triggered by firecrackers were reported in various parts of Thane Maharashtra City at Dewali Might, and there were no casualties, a citizenship official said on Friday.
None of the fires reported on Thursday is Major and can be contained in a few minutes, said Santosh Kadam, head of regional disaster management cells from Thane Municipal Corporation.
Most fires were reported in tall buildings, while some occurred in parked trucks and garbage piles, he added.
