Kalyan: Force response Disaster (TDRF) has saved 46 people in Bhiwandi after the Kamwari river crossed a dangerous line that led to a situation like a flood.
In accordance with TDRF officials, their team along with the local Bhiwandi firefighter team saved 40 people who had been trapped in the Ganesh Nagar area near Padgha at Bhiwandi Taluka from the Thane District on Thursday.
The team in another rescue operation has now saved six people trapped in the Idgah area and Dargah Road where people are trapped in their homes after the water of the Kamwari river entered the slums.
Santosh Kadam, Head of TDRF said, “There are still some people trapped in Chawl’s room in this area and our team saved them according to the information they got about people who were stranded”.
Likewise in Kalyan and Badlapur, the NDRF team was deployed where also a situation such as floods appeared near the River Ulhas and the Waldhuni River after both rivers across dangerous lines due to heavy rain in the hills of Karjat, Lonavala and Kasara from which these rivers appeared , The NDRF team in Kalyan Taluka saved seven villagers from Kamba Village while other teams in Badlapur saved 15 people from the series of series.
In Badlapur, the local fire fighting team also saved 78 people from various places trapped in water and we shifted to a safer place.
