Kalyan: A four-year-old boy, who played outside his home was attacked by three wild dogs in Kalyan on Friday night.
The boy suffered a bite in 18 places.
The boy underwent treatment at the hospital.
The incident took place in the Darli area in Kalyan (East) at 19:00 when Boy, Tushar, played outside his house.
Patil’s Sandeep Acticist said when they rushed the boy to Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation-Run Shastri Nagar Hospital in Dombivli no doctor who was present at the hospital to take care of him.
Patil said, “I doubt the doctor was on leave to celebrate December 31 because we rushed to the boy to Kalwa Hospital for care”.
The number of wild dog attack incidents has increased in the KDMC area.
In the past nine months, 9,044 dog bites have been reported in the city of Twin.
