Thane: In a strange accident, a 42-year-old man died after coming under the wheel of the container on Saturday in Majiwada Thane.
The deceased was identified as Anil Kumar which was rushed to the Hospital CSM Kalwa and was declared dead on arrival.
The accident took place around 3:00 p.m.
in Junction Majiwada, information informed of the regional disaster management cell (RDMC) from Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).
The container headed for Gujrat from Panvel.
“The biker allegedly lost control.
He fell on the road and was under the wheels,” said an official from RDMC.
Some spectators told RDMC, after an emergency tender was rushed to the place and saved the victim from under the container.
The biker immediately rushed to the CSK Hospital Kalwa where he was declared dead on arrival.
The case has been registered with respect to the accident.
The accident, however, disrupted traffic and congestion was observed for a while, said the source of RDMC.
