Thane: The days after the corpse was restored from the Kolet Thane area, the local police had solved this case and had caught the guilty.
The victim has been identified as one Hanumant Shelke, a contractor who runs a paint shop in the city.

The police then formed a team and launched an investigation into this problem.
The defendant was tracked by technical assistance and was arrested by the police.
“All the five accused of working under Shelke and they planned kidnapping in efforts to extort money from their families.
However, they killed Shelke then and buryed his body in a remote place in the colhet.” Deshmukh said.
