Thane: 96 new cases; There is no vaccination on SAT

Thane: Thane Municipal Corporation reported 96 new cases of Coronavirus within its limits on Friday.
With that, the total number of Covid-19 cases in Thane rose to 1,34,782.
Also, the death toll of Lake City rose to 2,048 with one more death that day.
Of the 96 cases, the Majiwada-Man zone watched 33 cases, while the Kalwa zone saw 15 cases.
A total of 14 cases were reported at Vartak Nagar, 11 in Naupada-Kopri, eight at Lokmanyanagar Savarkarnaga, two in Diva, and four of each in the Uthalsar and Wagale regions.
Five cases reported from the area outside Thane’s jurisdiction.
The patient’s address has not been confirmed.
Thane has so far recorded 1.31,838 recovery of Covid-19, including 60 patients who were declared covid free in the last 24 hours.
The city is now left with 896 active cases.
There was no vaccination on July 17: TMCT TMC told that all Civic and Run vaccination centers in the city will remain closed on Saturday.
However, private hospitals will be allowed to operate according to the number of vaccine doses available for them.
