Thane: At least seven young people sank in various lakes and pools in Thane and Bhiwandi in the last 10 days.
A week ago, two young people who went swimming together with friends in a lake in the range of Yeoor Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) had sunk.
The next day, two young people sank in the same location.
After that, the Ministry of Forestry also installed a warning board stating that the area was prohibited and those who would enter illegally, would face prison for three years or RS 25,000 both under the laws of wildlife.
