Thane: Thane City on Wednesday reported 51 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total number of cases to 1,36,658.
During the day, 53 people were also dismissed.
Until now, 1,34,095 patients have recovered.
Fortunately, there was no newly reported death.
So far, 2,074 people from the city have lost their lives because of Covid-19.
At present, 489 patients take care.
The recovery rate in the area of the Civic body is at 98.12 percent, while the doubling level is 2,292.
Among the new cases, 19 people tested positively in the Majiwada-Manpada ward, followed by nine in Vartak Nagar, eight in Uthalsar, five in Kalwa, three in Naupada-Kopri, two in Local-Savarkar Nagar and Wagale, and one in Mumbra and Diva.
One case was found from outside the city’s jurisdiction.
