Thane: Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) on Friday told that the city reported 48 new Covid-19 cases, took the overall number of cases to 1,36,074.
During the day, 52 people were also dismissed.
Until now, 1,33,432 people have recovered.
The city reported no new death.
The overall death toll stands at 2,068.
The city is now abandoned with 574 active cases.
While the recovery rate is 98.06 percent, double the number is 1,863 days.
Among new cases, 12 each of them was tested positive in Vartak Nagar and Kalwa, followed by 10 cases in Majiwada-Manada, four of each in Naupada-Kopri and Diva, each of each in Local-Savarkar and uthalsar.
One case was found in Mumbra, while no one was tested positive at Wagale Ward.
One person was tested positively from the jurisdiction of Thane City.
Meanwhile, civil bodies inform you that Covid-19 vaccination will not occur in the TMC center on Saturday.
“Covid-19 vaccination in all TMC centers will not take place on August 7, 2021,” TMC said.
