Thane: Thane City on Friday reported 48 new cases of Covid-19, taking the overall number of cases to 1.38.257.
Among new cases, Vartak Nagar reported 18 cases, while Majiwada-Manpada saw a surge in 12 cases.
Eight people were tested positive at Uthalsar, five in Kalwa, and three at Naupada-Kopri.
One person each was tested positive at the Local-Savarkar Nagar.
In fact, there are no new cases found in Wagale and Mumbra.
During the day, 56 people also recovered.
So far, 1,35,555 people have been dismissed in Thane.
The recovery rate is 97.05 percent, while the speed of the multiple is 1,958.
Fortunately, there were no new deaths reported for the second day in a row.
Meanwhile, 16,109 doses were given in government centers in the city and 1,789 in private centers.
Until now, 11,73,153 people have been vaccinated in Lake City.
