Thane: Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) on Friday said that the city reported 57 new Covid-19 cases, took the total number to 1,35,664.
On a positive note, the city reported zero new Covid-19 death.
The death toll was at 2,065.
During the day, 47 people were also dismissed.
Until now, 1,33,003 people have recovered.
Thane City’s recovery rate continues to be one of the highest in this country at 98.04 percent.
Double number is 1,998.
Among the new cases, 13 positive people were tested in Majiwada-Manada, 12 in Vartak Nagar, nine at LokManya-Savarkar Nagar, seven at Naupada-Kopri, six in Kalwa, four in Diwa, two in the crab and one in Wagale and Mumbra.
Two cases are found from jurisdiction from Thane.
