Thane: Thane City on Wednesday reported 59 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total number of cases to 1,35,967.
During the day, 62 people were also dismissed from post-recovery hospitals.
Until now, 1,33,329 people have recovered.
One person with co-morbidities and above the age of 60 gave up on the virus.
The overall death toll road stands at 2,067.
The city is now abandoned with 571 active cases.
The recovery rate is at 98.06 percent, while the multiplier level is 1,830.
Among the new cases, Majiwada-Manada reported 10 cases, followed by 14 in Kalwa, nine in Vartak Nagar, seven in Uthalsar, six in Naupada-Kopri, four in Local-Savarkar, three in Mumbra and Diva respectively.
Four people were also tested positively from the jurisdiction of Thane City.
