Thane: Thane City on Monday reported 60 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total number to 1,35,846.
During the day, 71 people were also dismissed from post-recovery hospitals.
Until now, 1,33,204 people have recovered.
However, one person with co-morbidities died on Monday.
So far, 2,066 people from the city have lost their lives because of the virus.
The recovery rate is at 98.06 percent, while the multiplier number is 1,989 days.
Active cases in the city now established in 576.
Among new cases, Majiwada-Manada reported 20 cases, 12 people were tested positively in Kalwa, followed by 11 in Vartak Nagar, five in Diva, and two in Maupada-Kopri, and two in Uthalsar and Wagale.
Four cases are found from the jurisdiction of Thane.
There are no new cases found in Lokmanya-Savarkar Nagar.
Meanwhile, Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) told that Covid-19 vaccination would not take place on Tuesday.
“Vaccination in the TMC center will still be closed on August 3, 2021,” TMC said.
