Thane City reported 68 new Covid-19 cases, 11 hours vaccination

Thane: Thane City on Wednesday reported 68 new Covid-19 cases, taking the overall number of cases to 1,37,711.
Among new cases, Majiwada-Manada reported 35 cases, followed by eight in Kalwa, six in Diva, five of each in Vartak Nagar and Uthalsar, three in Wagale, two in Local-Savarkar Nagar, and one in Mumbra and Naupada-kopri ward.
Two people were tested positively from outside Thane City’s jurisdiction.
During the day, 41 people were also dismissed.
So far, 1,35,042 people have recovered from infection.
Because there were no new deaths reported in the last 24 hours, the victim died as a whole reached 2,085.
The rate of recovery is pitched at 98.06 percent, while the double number is 1,945.
Meanwhile, 12,006 people were vaccinated in government centers and 2,223 in private centers.
With that, the number of Covid-19 vaccination has crossed 11 lakh-mark in the city.
