Thane: For the second day in a row, no new Covid-19 death reported in Thane.
However, there has been a surge in a new case.
On Wednesday, 77 people tested the virus positive, taking the overall number of cases to 1.37,300.
During the day, 36 people were sent home.
The overall recovery stood at 1.34,757.
A total of 2,080 people in the city have lost their lives until now.
The city is now abandoned with 463 active cases.
The recovery rate was 98.15 percent, and the doubling rate was 2,093 among new cases, 31 people were tested positively in the Majiwada-Manpada ward, followed by 20 in Vartak Nagar.
Seven people were tested positively at Uthalsar, six in Maupada-Kopri, three of each at the Local-Savarkar and Wagale Wards, each in Kalwa and Mumbra and one in Diva.
Two cases are found from jurisdiction from Thane City.
