Thane: With more recovery than new positive patients, the number of active Covid-19 cases in the city has dropped below 900.
On Wednesday, 78 people tested positive viruses, taking the overall calculation to 1, 34,607.
The city also saw 96 recovery.
Until now, 1,31,682 people have recovered.
However, three people with co-morbidities give up on viruses.
The victim’s death toll has increased to 2,046.
Active case stands at 879.
While the recovery rate is 97.83 percent, double the number is 1,393 days.
Among the new cases, 17 was tested positive in Vartak Nagar, 15 in Majiwada-Manada, 14 on Local-Savarkar Nagar, 12 in Kalwa, seven in Uthalsar, five in Diva, each at Naupada-Kopri and Mumbra, and Mumbra Two in Wagale.
During the day, 6,249 people were vaccinated in government centers and 2,485 in private centers.
