Thane: Thane City on Thursday reported 79 new Covid-19 cases, taking the overall calculation to 1,34,686.
For almost a week, the city has reported new positive cases below 100.
During the day, 96 people were also repatriated.
Until now, 1,31,778 people have recovered from viruses.
However, one person with co-morbidities surrendered to the virus, took the total number of deaths to 2,047.
Now, there are 861 active cases in the city.
The recovery rate is at 97.84 percent and the level of doubling at 1,460 days.
Among new cases, Majiwada-Manpada reported 20 cases, followed by 17 in Uthalsar, and 10 in Local-Savarkar Nagar.
The Naupada-Kopri area saw a surge in nine cases, followed by seven in Kalwa, six in Vartak Nagar, three each in Wagale and Diva.
Mumbra reported a new case.
Three cases were also found from city jurisdictions from Thane.
