Thane: Thane City on Monday saw a massive decline in the new Covid-19 case with 58 people testing positive viruses.
Over the past two days, Lake City has reported new cases below 100.
The overall case increased to 1,34,469.
However, three people with co-morbidity also died.
During the day, 97 people were sent home.
So far, 1,31,474 people have recovered.
While the recovery rate is 97.77 percent, double the number is 1,119 days.
Now the city is left with 955 active cases.
Among new cases, 16 people were tested positive in Vartak Nagar, 11 each in Uthalsar and Kalwa, seven in Naupada-Kopri, five in Majiwada-Manada, four in Wagale, two in Local-Savarkar Nagar and one in Diva , Mumbra reported no new case.
One case was found from the jurisdiction of the city from Thane.
Thane Municipal Corporation also informed that 12,074 people were vaccinated in government centers and 13,943 in private centers on Monday.
Meanwhile, vaccination in TMC centers will remain closed on Tuesday due to lack of doses.
