Thane: In positive developments, Thane City has seen a decline in the new Covid-19 case for the third day in a row.
On Tuesday, the city reported 60 new cases against 97 on Monday and 100 on Sundays.
With new cases, the total number has increased to 1,33,887.
The Mumbra region reported zero new cases for the second day in a row.
However, two people give up on the virus.
So far, 2,025 people lost their lives.
Both deceased had co-morbidity and was above the age of 60 years.
During the day, 85 people were also removed from the hospital.
So far, almost 1.31 lakh people have recovered and 964 took care.
The recovery rate is 97.78 percent and the doubling rate is 1,154 days.
Also, 4,219 people were vaccinated in private centers.
Among the new cases, 16 people were tested positive in Kalwa, 12 in Majiwada-Manada, 11 in Vartak Nagar, eight in Local-Savarkar Nagar, seven in Naupada-Kopri and two on the edge of Uthalsar, Wagale and Diva.
