Thane: For almost two weeks, Thane City continued to report a slowdown in the new Covid-19 case.
On Wednesday, the city reported 45 new cases, taking the overall number of cases to 1.35,557.
During the day, 70 people were also dismissed.
Until now, 1,32,885 people have recovered.
However, one person with co-morbidities surrendered to the virus.
The overall death toll road stands at 1.065.
Now, Lake City remains with 607 patients active.
The city recovery rate is 98.03 percent, while the double number is 1,351 days.
Nearly 5,000 people were vaccinated in private and government centers.
Among new cases, 15 people were positively tested in Majiwada-Manada, followed by seven in Vartak Nagar, six in Kalwa, four of each in Wagale and Diva, each of each in Local-Savarkar and Uthalsar Two people at Naupada-Kopri, and one person was tested positive at Mumbra.
Meanwhile, there will be no Covid-19 vaccination on Thursday.
“The vaccination center by @TmCatweetAWay will remain closed on July 29, 2021.
We apologize for the inconvenience,” TMC said in a tweet.
