Thane: With a daily increase in Covid cases in Thane, Wany Municipal company has now written to all private hospital management who ask them to remain vigilant and switch to care for patients in the coming weeks.
Dr.
Prasad Patil, Medical Officer in Thane Corporation, said they worked to ensure there was no scarcity of beds and infrastructure if there was a surge in the next few weeks and thus asking for personal facilities to be converted into special facilities for treating.
Covid patients.
At present, there are only 22 special facilities in the city handling cases.
