Thane: Cong to Contes upcoming Civic Solo polls

Thane: signs of tension in the MVA allies at the local level are reflected again on Friday after the congress announced to oppose future civilian elections.
The announcement was made by the Thane President Congress, Corporator Vikrant Chavan, at a meeting of a worker in the city where he said there was a need to strengthen the party base in urban areas.
“There is a fairly large volume of traditional Congress voters in the city and we need to reach them immediately.
There is a need to seep at the micro level and only those who are popular among voters in the ward will be considered to fight for upcoming polls,” said Chavan.

The latest incident triggered a new duel between the ally of the country at the local level was when Mayor Naresh Mhaske on Tuesday stated that Sena did not require NCP support in the general body or corporate function.
Mhaske spoke after sudden protests performed by NCP Corporators during the general process of administration and the ruling party.
NCP replied on Wednesday, reminding Mhaske from the demand made by the Shiv leader Sena and Guardian Minister Eknath Shinde to support him for majoral polls 2019.
“Shinde personally visited the office of opposition leader along with Mhaske looking for NCP support to choose him when the mayor did not want to be ready Received, “said former President MP and NCP City Anand Paranjape.
