Kalyan: A Thane Constable inherent at the Ramanagar police station in Dombivli was arrested for persecuting a little girl.
He was on Saturday suspended.
The case below section 354 (persecution) and allegations related to the Pocso Law were registered on Thursday after the mother accused the police to persecute her daughter on the stairs.
The police then registered fir and arrested him.
Senior official said he was produced before the Kalyan session court, which sent it for the custody of the judiciary.
