Kalyan: Police Police suffered a serious injury to his face while stopping the fight between two groups in Ulhasnagar City Thane Maharashtra district on Friday.
The two groups compete for money disputes when police police Ganesh Damale together with his colleagues reached a place to stop the fight.
However, one who was accused of instead stabbed his face.
During the fight, two other people – Sanjay Chitlani and Avinash Naidu – also suffered serious injuries and they were being treated at JJ Hospital in Mumbai.
The local Vitthalwadi police station has registered firmly against Naresh Lefty, Omie and Shashi Chikna aka Sukhi, and the search for trio is ongoing.
Police sources say that Naresh, who was involved in the cricket betting business, had money because of Sanjay and demanded the same thing from him.
The two parties met near Part 30 in Ulhasnagar 4 around 2am on Friday, where Avinash, who was a habit criminal, asked Naresh to wait a few more months for money, because the last was angry.
Naresh attacked Sanjay and Avinash with a knife, hurt both.
When Constable Damale learned about the fight, he reached the place and tried to stop, but instead, Naresh stabbed him on his face, before escaping from the place.
Then, more police personnel reached the place and hurried into different hospitals.
