Thane: Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) on Thursday told that vaccination centers in the city will remain closed on July 2, Friday.
This comes because this city once again faces Covid-19 vaccine crunch.
However, only TMC centers and countries will still have no operation.
The private vaccination center in Thane has been allowed to continue to manage Jab for beneficiaries that meet the requirements according to the number of doses available with them.
Drive vaccination for July 2 has been suspended in neighboring areas of Kalyan and Dombivli too, because of the availability of vaccines from the state government.

Mumbai closed inoculation center also on Thursday due to lack of vaccines.
Thane has witnessed a downward trend in the number of daily coronavirus cases.
On Thursday, Lake City reported 90 new cases of Covid-19, while two patients gave up on infection.
This city has so far recorded 2,012 fatalities and 1,30,412 recovery.
A total of 991 patients are currently undergoing treatment for Covid-19 in Thane.
