Thane: Covaxin and Covishield vaccine doses will be available for beneficiaries over 18 years in Covid-19 vaccination centers within corporate limits of Municipal Thane (TMC) on Thursday.
All centers will operate between 10am and 4pm.
Only three centers are marked for booking online slots, TMC information.
The Health Department Thane Municipal Corporation has told that there will be no drive of Covid vaccination on Thursday in several health centers because there will be routine examinations of pregnant women and health camps for children in these centers.
The Ministry of Health has appealed to citizens to record the cancellation of Covid Vaccination on Thane Municipal Corporation’s Anand Health Center, Azad Nagar Health Center, CR Wadia Hospital, Gandhi Nagar Health Center, Kajuwadi Health Center, Kisan Nagar Health Center, Kopri Maternity Hospital , Kopri Health Center, Majiwada Health Center, Manorama Nagar Health Center, Manada Health Center, Naupada Health Center, Nagar Savayak Health Center, Vartak Nagar Health Center, Uthalsar Nagar Nagar Health Center.
Covaxin Covaxin will be given to three Inoculation of Centres-TMC Thane Global Hub 1 (dosage 1 and 2), TMC Thane Global Hub 2 (dosage 1 and 2) and TMC Post Covid Center 2 (only second dose).
It can be noted that online slot bookings are not needed at TMC Post Covid Center 2 to get Jab.
Those who have taken their first dose on vaccines on August 4 are now eligible for their second dose.
Covishield those who have taken their first dose until June 9 are now eligible for their second jab.
TMC Post Covid Center 1 and TMC Kausa HC (ATC) 1 will only manage the second dose of vaccines for those aged over 18 years.
Special walk-in sessions have been held in these centers for students who will fly abroad for higher studies and people traveling for professional reasons.
TMC Yeor Health Center has held a special session for 18 years and above and only tribes.
Parking TMC Plaza and TMC CSSMH will manage the first dose and both covishield on Thursday to teachers, health care and front lines.
All centers will provide preferences to different city residents, pregnant women and nursing mothers, Civic’s body said.
Meanwhile, 77 new Covid-19 cases were reported on Wednesday in Thane City.
