Thane: Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) will drive Covid-19 vaccination across 29 centers in the city on Thursday.
Both the covaxin and covishield vaccine doses will be available for beneficiaries over 18 years.
All centers will provide preferences to different city residents, pregnant women and nursing mothers, Civic’s body said.
CovaxinCovaxin will be given to 11 inoculation centers.
All centers will only manage the second dose of vaccines.
It can be noted that booking online slots is not needed in these centers to get Jab.
Those who have taken their first dose of vaccines on August 25 are now eligible for their second dose.
The remaining 18 covishield centers in the city will manage covishield for those over 18 years old.
Those who have taken their first dose until June 30 are now eligible for their second jab.
Special walk-in sessions have been held at TMC Post Covid Center 1 for those who will fly abroad.
TMC Theme Naka 1 and TMC TIR Naka 2 will manage the first dose and both covishield vaccines only for women over 18, while Wadia Outreach 1 and Wadia Outreach 2 have arranged a special session only for members of the Thane District Court from 11am to 4pm .
Meanwhile, 67 cases of Covid-19 were only recorded on Wednesday, said a civilian official.
