The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) on Sunday informed that the vaccination drive in the city will be restarted from Monday.
The drive was halted for three days since June 10, in view of heavy rainfall and red alert by the IMD.
“The vaccination at all centres will start from tomorrow (June 14),” said the TMC.
Mayor Naresh Mhaske and TMC chief Vipin Sharma have requested all the beneficiaries to take the vaccine shots.
Meanwhile, Thane city is now left with 1,135 active covid-9 cases.
So far, 1,973 people have lost their lives to the virus.
Whereas, 1,28,500 people have recovered.
The recovery rate stands at 97 per cent.
