THANE: The coronavirus instance count in Thane district of Maharashtra climbed by 417 to attain 5,27,400an official said on Saturday.
These instances were reported Friday, he explained.
Together with all the virus claiming 13 lives throughout the afternoon, the death toll from the district rose to 10,462.
Thane’s Covid-19 mortality rate currently stands at 1.98 percent, he added.
In neighbouring Palghar area, the disease tally has attained 1,14,584, although the death toll is 2,464, a second official said.
