Thane: Dopey is 20 years old and his aide is arrested within 24 hours because it is suspected of robbing a 23-year-old Mumbai resident of his cellphone and cash in Kalyan Skywalk, Wee Sunday hours.
According to the train police, around 11pm, the victim, a lower resident of Parel was on his way home after meeting a friend in Kalyan when he was punished near Kasara End of the Skywalk connecting the train station by the duo accused of heavy influence from Some narcotics.
“The people appointed a knife at the victim and threw it and took a cellphone and cash.
Worried about his life, the victim somehow managed to escape from their grip and approach the police,” Informed Shardul Valmik, Senior Inspector at the Kalyan Train Police.
Following complaints and based on the description given by the victim, the police formed a team and faned and collected several suspects issued by the two charges.
Probe Introduction revealed the duo was often involved in the same criminal activities to fund their addiction.
While the main defendant was returned to police custody, underage children had been detained considering his involvement in such criminal activities, told Constable Mr.
Kute.
