Thane: A 20-year-old drug addict and his aide was arrested within 24 hours of allegedly robbing Mumbai residents from their telephone and cash on Kalyan Skywalk, on Sunday.
The 23-year-old victim, a lower resident of Parel, was on his way home, after meeting a friend in Kalyan when the duo robbed it at a knife point near the Skywalk-ends that connected the station.
The accusation was allegedly under the influence of narcotics.
The victim managed to escape and approached the police, said Shardul Valmik, senior inspector at the Kalyan train police.
The main defendant was returned to police custody while minors had been detained, told Konstable Mr.
Kute.
