Thane: Police Railway Thane (GRP) arrested two suspected people to rob female train passengers from the gold chain as soon as Kalyan’s local train was bound on Monday.
The defendant was identified as Turu Shaikh 28 and Badal Shaikh 19 residents of Shantinagar slums in East Kalwa.
Police said that the victim, Chanda Dayal, 30, a housewife on Monday at around 8:30 a.m., visited their doctor from Diva to Mulund and on the Nound Platform No.
2, they took a slow train Kalyan in Boggie Second of Motorman.
The victim accused that there were two co-passengers sitting in adjacent chairs.

The defendant climbed from their seats as soon as the train took his steps one of them grabbed the golden chain and both jumped out of the train and escaped.
The gold chain is worth RS 24000 according to the receipt shown to the police.
The couple went down at the Kalwa train station and reported to the police who then guided them to register cases under section 392 and 34 of the Indian criminal code.
The police based on technical instructions including CCTV footage began their investigations and teams to track the duo to the huts located in East Patawa and restore their booty from their ownership.
The duo was arrested on Friday at around 6:30 a.m.

Police said that they were investigating the duo, if they were involved in the same crime as commitment.
