Thane: Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) Thane give compensation of Rs.
52.6 lakh to the family of Navi Mumbai, who have lost their breadwinner, an official at a financial institution in a road accident involving a trailer in 2017.
The complainant, which includes a widow, three daughters and elderly parents in their claim, saying to their court, told the court that the death of the sole breadwinner has cast a shadow of gloom on the family and seek compensation.
The legal team appeared for the plaintiff told the court that the deceased at the time of the accident was 40 years old.

After hearing both sides, members of the Tribunal Member MACT RN castling ordered two opponents – the owner of the offending truck trailer and insurance companies – to jointly and severely make payments to the claimant together with eight percent interest from the date of filing the claim.
