Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) on Wednesday continued its action on illegal construction for the third day in a row.
The urge to destroy the illegal structure began after the TMC head Vipin Sharma ordered to take action.
TMC said that the Head of the Civic Agency had ordered to destroy illegal development where the work was completed but people had not started living.
On Wednesday, six more structures were destroyed.
These include – three RCC structures, one Dhaba in the Majiwada-Manada area, and one RCC construction respectively in Kalwa and Naupada.
On Tuesday, the action was taken in 13 structures in Majiwada-Manpada and Kalwa Prabhag (Ward).
Commissioner of the City of Bipin Sharma has ordered to continue invalid construction actions in all environmental committees.
