KALYAN: A former social worker was detained in connection with the illegal adoption racket together with the parents of a seven-month-old kid. The Thane authorities, with assistance from the child protection officer of Thane district, also detained 28-year-old Manshi Jadhav, who worked with a child care center at Dombivli, where she’d run polls of parents trying to adopt kids. The police suspect she should have gathered details of those parents trying to adopt kids and after stopping her job enticed them with prohibited adoption citing decades of lawful process from the typical adoption process. The episode came to light following Ramkrishna Reddy, kid safety officer of Thane district observed by a few that Jadhav had given them a young child to embrace at a price of Rs two lakh. Reddy told TOI,”The group nabbed Jadhav along with the parentswho wished to market their child among others and handed them to the regional Mahatma Phule authorities for additional probe.” The kid was handed on to this Dombivli child care facility and a stunt is on to discover whether Jadhav has indulged in these offenses before. The authorities said that from this Rs two lakh,” Jadhav was intending to maintain Rs 30,000 while the remaining sum was given to the detained couple.
