Pune: The IAS officer was arrested on Saturday morning from his Thore residence because of his involvement in the 2019 teacher’s feasibility test of malpractice cases.
A team led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Cyber) Bhagyashri Navatake, Inspector DS Hake, and Inspector Kumar Ghadge arrested the officer, Sushil Dadarao Khodwekkar (43), from Thane.
He was produced in front of the City Court on Saturday afternoon, which stopped him in police custody until January 31.

Dere was arrested after the police learned during the Supe Custodian interrogation of malpractice in the 2018 exam.
During Supe’s interrogation, it was revealed that Savarikar had made a list of more than 300 candidates and turned it on to Khodwekar.

“Khodwekar then investigated Supe, ordered by the government.
Taking profit, Khodwekar pressurized Supe to support the candidates mentioned in the list provided by Savarikar.
