Thane: Senior Official (TMC) Thane Municipal Corporation, who was injured in a recent snack attack, was sent home from the hospital on Tuesday.
Kalpita Pimle, Assistant Commissioner of the City (AMC) from the Majiwada-Manpada area, was attacked by vendors during the anti-encroachment drive.
He also lost three fingers and a sustainable injury in the incident.
TMC said that the officer was dismissed from a private hospital where he took care and head TMC Vipin Sharma interacted with him.
After the attack, several political leaders and ministers had met him to ask his health and also demanded justice for him.
The Chairman of the Minister of Uddhav Thackeray also spoke to him on the phone and convinced him that strict action would be taken against the defendant while hoping he would recover quickly.
