Thane: The Meteorology Department of India (IMD) has expected intense rain spells in isolated places in this district.
The center of regional meteorology (RMC) in Mumbai said that heavy rains can occur in three to four hours in the next district of Thane.
It also adds that storm activities will continue through the Maharashtra interior.
“Lightning storms accompanied by spelling, rain spells and gusty wind while intensely will occur in places isolated in the Thane district for the next 3-4 hours,” said RMC Mumbai in a tweet.
The IMD also said that Mumbai is likely to witness light rain into the city and suburbs with the possibility of occasional intense spells in isolated places.
Most countries have not witnessed rain since June 20.
However, RMC said that there was a good chance of rain in Maharashtra in the coming days.
