Thane: Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) will drive Covid-19 vaccination across 59 centers in the city on Friday.
Both the covaxin and covishield vaccine doses will be available for beneficiaries over 18 years.
All centers will operate between 10am and 4pm.
Although only three centers are marked for booking online slots, 54 open centers for road vaccination, TMC information.
All centers will provide preferences to different city residents, pregnant women and nursing mothers, Civic’s body said.
Covaxin will be given to four centers of inoculation.
Those who have taken their first dose on vaccines on July 29 are now eligible for their second dose.
The remaining 55 centers in the city will manage covishield for those over 18 years old.
Those who have taken their first dose until June 3 are now eligible for their second jab.
Special walk-in sessions have been held at TMC Post Covid Center 1 and TMC Kausa HC (ATC) 1 center for students who will fly abroad for higher studies and people traveling for professional reasons.
Meanwhile, 50 Covid-19 cases were only recorded in Thane City on Thursday, a civilian official said.
