Thane: Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) will travel Covid-19 vaccination across 48 centers in the city on Friday.
Both the covaxin and covishield vaccine doses will be available for beneficiaries over 18 years.
All centers will operate between 10am and 4pm.
Only three centers marked for ordering online slots, namely, TMC Drive In, TMC Thane Global Hub 1 and TMC Thane Global Hub 2.
All centers will provide preferences for different city residents, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers, Civic’s body said .
Those who have taken their first dose of the Covaxin vaccine on August 5, now qualify for their second dose.
School staff and colleges along with health care and frontline can take the first and second doses of covishield at TMC CSH and TMC Kausa stadium from 11am to 4pm.
Those who have taken the first dose of Covishield until June 10 are now eligible for their second jab.
Special walk-in sessions have been held at TMC Post Covid Center 1 for students who will fly abroad for higher studies as well as people traveling for professional reasons.
Meanwhile, 57 new Covid-19 cases were recorded on Thursday, a citizenship official said.
