Thane: Thane Municipal Corporation is ready to travel Covid-19 vaccination across 53 centers in the city on Friday.
Both the covaxin and covishield vaccine doses will be available for beneficiaries over 18 years.
All centers will operate in a window at 11 am to 4pm.
While only two centers marked for booking slots online on Friday, the rest will be open to walk-in vaccination, TMC information.
CovaxinCovaxin will be given to 17 inoculation centers on Friday.
All centers will have the first dose and both vaccines, except TMC Post Covid Center 2, which will only give a second shot that day.
Of all 17 centers, only the TMC Thane Global Hub 1 center requires previous online bookings to get Jab.
Those who have taken their first dose on vaccines on July 5 are now eligible for their second dose.
CovishieldThe 36 centers left in the city will manage both covishield doses on Friday.
Those who have taken the first dose until May 5 are now eligible for their second jab.
Drive-in Vaccination: Drive-in Vaccination camp has been arranged at Raymond Company in Thane for beneficiaries over 18 years.
Residents must order their online slots to take advantage of drive-in facilities, which will operate starting at 11am to 4pm with 300 doses.
Vaccination on wheels: Four centers within the TMC limit has been categorized as ‘vaccination on wheels’ which will operate starting at 11am to 3pm, each with 300 doses.
The four centers will function on Friday only for people over 45 years who will receive their first or second covishield.
Vaccination in a wheel session has been held in Jotiba Phule Nagar, TMC School No.
53, Prithvi Raj in Nalpada, and Ganesh Chowk on Wagle Estate.
For students who go abroad: special walk-in sessions have been held at TMC Post Covid Center 1 for students who will fly abroad for higher studies and people traveling for professional reasons.
Such beneficiaries have been allowed to get the covishield both after 28 days by the Ministry of Health Union.
The camp will operate starting at 11am to 1 afternoon with 100 doses.
For tribes: Special outreach program has been held for a city tribal population at Pelkhanda’s outreach center on Jalan GB.
The ethnic tribes above 18 can get the first or second shot of the covishield here.
