Thane: Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) will travel Covid-19 vaccination across 24 centers in the city on Friday.
TMC drives a special vaccination for lawyers at the Thane Court building on Thursday and vaccinated around 350 members of the District Court Bar Association.
Both the covaxin and covishield vaccine doses will be available on Friday for beneficiaries over 18 years, TMC information.
All centers will provide preferences to different city residents, pregnant women and nursing mothers, Civic’s body said.
CovaxinCovaxin will be given to 11 inoculation centers.
TMC outreach has held a special vaccination drive for TMT wagle staff from 11:00 to 4pm.
The first dose and both Covaxin will be given to those over 18 years old.
The 10 remaining centers will only manage the second dose of vaccines.
It can be noted that booking online slots is not needed in these centers to get Jab.
Those who have taken their first dose of vaccines on August 26 are now eligible for their second dose.
CovishieLDE 13 centers left in the city will manage covishield for those over 18 years old.
Those who have taken their first dose until July 1 are now eligible for their second jab.
Special walk-in sessions have been held at TMC Post Covid Center 1 for those who will fly abroad.
TMC outreach will manage the first dose and both covishield vaccines only for TMT Wagle staff starting at 11am to 4pm.
Women over 18 years can take their jab in TMC Tembi Naka from 10am to 4pm, said Civic’s body.
Meanwhile, Thane City reported 82 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, a citizenship official said.
