Thane: With the addition of 368 new cases of Coronavirus, the number of infections in Maharashtra Regency has reached 5,31,943, an official said on Wednesday.
These new cases were reported on Tuesday, he said.
The virus also claimed the life of 18 more people, raising deaths in Thane up to 10,679, he said, adding that the death rate of Covid-19 in this district was two percent.
Details of patients restored and lack of treatment are not provided by the district administration.
In neighboring countries Palghar, the number of Covid-19 cases has reached 1,16,570, while the dead have reached 2,563, other officials said.
