Thane: Tally Covid-19 Tally in the Thane Maharashtra District has reached 5.31,200 with the addition of 480 new cases of viral infection, an official said on Monday.
These new cases were reported on Sundays, he said.
When the virus claims the life of 16 more people, the death toll in the district reached 10,645.
Covid-19 mortality rate in Thane stands two percent, he added.
Details of patients restored and lack of treatment are not provided by the district administration.
In neighboring Palghar, the number of Covid-19 cases has reached 1,16,229, while the death toll was 2,546, another official said.
