Thane: Five Cloth Godown is completely destroyed in a big fire broken in Bhiwandi, a city of Powerloom in the Thane district in Maharashtra, early Saturday, an official said.
However, no one was injured in the incident, he said.
“Fireworks begin at one of the warehouse fabrics located in Draupadi compounds in Purna village around 1:30 a.m.
“Santosh Kadam said, the head of the regional disaster management cell from Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).
After being told, one fire extinguisher from Thane and Bhiwandi Civic Bodies rushed to the place and started the fire department operation, he said.
“The fire was controlled and watered around 8.35 in the morning,” said Kadam.
There are no reports of victims or injuries to anyone in the incident, he said, adding that the cause of the fire was confirmed.
