Thane: The police arrested the father of a two-month-old girl who was found abandoned in Thane recently.

The defendant was Dailywage workers who lived in Nallasopara, police said.
On August 30, he and his wife came to the Thane station to take the train to Bihar.
They quarreled and he took the train but the father who held the baby was not, said an officer.
The defendant made him stay at the entrance of the building in the Charangan area and Perronnel police on a duty patrol to get information that the baby was found abandoned.
